Renal Dialysis

Noosa Hospital’s Renal Dialysis Unit is a five chair Unit, providing comprehensive haemodialysis treatment for private, public, DVA, and uninsured patients from all over Australia and overseas.

The Renal Unit offers patients the latest technology, located on the ground floor of Noosa Hospital with an outlook through large picture windows onto a pretty Australian bush setting.

Noosa Hospital’s experienced Nephrologists, Dr Peter Hollett and Dr Kumar Mahadevan, provide high quality and evidence based care to patients. Supporting the nephrologists is a team of highly specialised renal nurses who provide safe and comfortable dialysis in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The Renal Unit is supported by a 24 hour medical and emergency services through the Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department.

Holiday Dialysis

Noosa Hospital is located just minutes from Noosa Heads and locally renowned beaches, restaurants and Noosa National Park.

Sunshine Coast Airport is an easy 30 minute drive with direct flights daily to Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide and seasonal weekly flights to Auckland. Airport transfers available.

The Renal Unit is available all year and welcomes all holiday patients, new and returning, to receive treatment while holidaying in the Noosa and Sunshine Coast area.

Our service provides a great opportunity for patients to enjoy the wonderful holiday destination that is Noosa, with the confidence of knowing that an experienced team is on hand to provide the best care possible.

Operation and Bookings

The Noosa Hospital Renal Unit operates Monday to Saturday from 7.00am to 8.00pm.
