Dr Pinky Baghi completed advanced Oncology training at Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle, where she also worked as an Oncologist.
Dr Baghi previously gained experience as Staff Specialist in Oncology in various rural and regional locations in QLD and NSW.
Pinky is looking forward to moving to the Sunshine Coast, establishing a practice at Noosa Hospital and working closely with the wellestablished clinical multidisciplinary team in place at Noosa.
Dr Baghi looks forward to providing comprehensive care to patients in their own community. She believes the landscape of Oncology is changing rapidly, with new drugs and therapies providing hope to patients and their families.
One of Dr Baghi’s goals, stemming from her passion for academic and clinical research, is to introduce clinical trials to her practice. This will allow patients to benefit from new research. Her special interests are GI, cancer, lung cancer, head and neck cancer and melanoma.
When not working, Dr Baghi enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
