Noosa Hospital is a modern facility in a peaceful bushland setting. On the average day, the hospital will admit 60 patients, treat 40 patients in the Emergency Medical Centre (EMC), undertake 25 operations, prepare over 700 meals and process over 5,000 pieces of paperwork.

Noosa Hospital offers a free courtesy transport buggy to enable patients and visitors to get to the hospital from their car or the adjacent bus stops on Goodchap Street.

Noosa Hospital provides high quality meals and is able to supply special diets when required. Food and alcoholic beverages should not be brought to you by visitors without first consulting your nurse or doctor.

Veterans' Affairs
As a Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veteran Partnering hospital, Veteran patients at Noosa Hospital have immediate access to care, without the need for prior approval (Prior approval is required in some circumstances eg. Cosmetic Surgery/Respite Care).
Oncology Unit
The Oncology Unit at Noosa Hospital, affectionately known as “Club Chemo”, cares for thousands of cancer patients each year. The unit offers chemotherapy for local residents as well as those holidaying in Noosa - enabling them to continue their treatment in a professional, relaxed setting.

Our Renal Unit provides comprehensive haemodialysis treatment for private and public patients from across Australia and overseas. The unit provides dialysis for patients who are holidaying in the Noosa area. The unit has state of the art equipment allowing it to offer a broad range of dialysis.
